Marjorie Bay - Rottnest Island snorkelling
Marjorie Bay is a quiet bay on Rottnest's north-west coast, a little west of Rocky Bay and Narrow Neck. A long beach runs beneath low bluffs, with a natural lagoon in the reef at its eastern end.
The bay faces north, so it is sheltered from southerly winds, and the calm lagoon and the reef edges are the places to look for fish. Little has been published about the underwater side, so go in with an open mind. Its distance from the settlement keeps it quieter than the island's best-known spots, although boats often moor here in settled summer weather.
- Experience level: Moderate
- Depth: 1-4 m

Sheltered from southerly winds, exposed to northerlies.
